You and your child are unique, yet we all respond positively to kindness and love expressed through healthy touch and massage.

Massage for your baby or toddler provides the perfect opportunity for you to learn to interpret your child's behaviour through massage. This helps to increase your own self confidence as a parent, decrease stress levels, and strengthen the bond and relationship between you and your new child.

Your child can benefit from massage in many ways. Massage has the potential to stimulate circulation, as well as the nervous, immune, and respiratory systems. For newborns, it may provide greater relaxation, ease discomfort, and promote restful sleep. For toddlers, it further provides the opportunity for you to strengthen communication, understanding, and trust.

For mothers, the increased mental and physical bond may help boost breast milk production and help combat post natal depression.

Infant and baby massage is suitable and beneficial for children of any age and ability, and the instructional sessions will be tailored to your child's individual circumstances and needs.

Instruction – One-to-One Home Sessions & In-Depth Courses

I offer professional instruction, advice and support in the comfort of your own home. You will learn specific massage techniques, strokes and sequences that you can confidently perform for the benefit of your child's ongoing development. These gentle and nurturing massage routines include the legs, arms, back, abdomen, chest, hands, feet, and face, and can easily be incorporated into your daily routine, such as bath or bed time.

Individual session content:
An instructional session begins with a gentle relaxation to help calm and prepare you, before I take you through the basic massage strokes and sequences in stages. The gentle pace of the instruction enables you to practice and gain confidence massaging your child, whilst allowing your infant to gain trust and enjoyment from the touch. I advise at least two sessions to ensure confidence in your basic techniques.

In-depth course content:
For greater depth of knowledge, and additional longterm benefit for you and your child, I teach advanced courses over a period of 4-6 weeks. This course allows you to practice a wider variety of techniques and sequences covering the whole body, providing you with a regular and strong foundation to build upon as you gain skill and confidence in your massage ability.

Instruction manual and FREE massage oil:
Included in the session cost is a detailed instruction manual outlining all the strokes and sequences I teach you, plus I provide you with a complimentary bottle of nourishing grapeseed massage oil to get you started on this fulfilling journey.

Minimum age:
The minimum age requirement is after your child's 6-8 week health check. There is no upper age limit. Toddlers and older children are more than welcome!

Confidential medical questionnaire:
During your first session, we will complete a confidential medical form for you and your child. A GP referral may be required in some individual cases, but this will be discussed during the consultation.

Session & Course Costs

One-to-one home session: £20
For both parents and infant in the comfort of your own home, including instruction manual and FREE massage oil (approx. 1 hr 30 mins).

Follow-on home session: discounted to £15

Group sessions:
If you'd like to learn infant massage techniques with fellow parents, I can teach group sessions for you and your friends in the comfort of one of your homes.

• 2 couples with infants: £18 per couple
• 3 couples with infants: £16 per couple
• 4 or more couples with infants: £14 per couple

Group session prices include instruction manual and FREE massage oil for EACH couple.

In-depth course - discounted rates:
• 4 week course: £60
• 6 week course: £80

If you book a course you will not only benefit from these discounted bulk booking rates, but you will also receive your FREE massage oil and FREE £5 voucher to spend against any of my other holistic therapies.

Travel costs:
Travel costs may apply. If travelling totals ten miles or more (round trip) to and from Wallasey, a £5 travel cost will be added to the total price. Further costs may apply for longer distances. (For more information, please see my Terms & Conditions.)
