Reflexology

Reflexology is an age-old healing practice originating in China some 6,000 years ago, and bears similarity to Acupressure and Acupuncture.

It works on the principle that reflex points on the soles, tops and sides of your feet correspond with organs and areas throughout your body. By gently pressing and stimulating these reflex points with the thumbs and fingers, we can work to unblock energy lines and help the body re-balance, allowing for natural healing to occur.

Reflexology can benefit young and old, men and women. It can help alleviate digestive discomfort, general aches and pains, headaches, sinus and respiratory congestion, urinary tract discomfort, fatigue, stress and anxiety, and many more situations.

I am particurlarly excited about the benefits of Reflexology for conception, infertility and wellbeing during pregnancy, and I offer specific treatments tailored to your individual circumstances. For those who are undergoing infertility treatment, I discuss a treatment timeline that coincides with your IVF treatment.

Each session begins with a gentle relaxation, focusing on simple meditation and breathing exercises to help calm the mind and body. These are done at your pace to ensure you feel comfortable and relaxed. After the session, there is time for feedback and discussion, if you wish. This is complementary to your actual treatment, therefore, please allow an additional 30 minutes to the following treatment times:

Reflexology - general treatment:
A relaxing treatment to promote general wellbeing, relaxation, and physical and mental harmony.
£25 (1 hr 10 mins)

Infertility / Pre-Conception treatment:
Regular reflexology sessions for both men and women can help to bring about the increased chance of fertility naturally, a healthy pregnancy, as well as helping towards a more relaxed birth and content infant.

Maternity treatment:
Reflexology during maternity can help optimise the health potential of the mum-to-be, bringing about relaxation, balance, and harmony to both the mother and baby.
£20 (45 mins)

Post Natal:
Reflexology is extremely relaxing, and is helpful in reducing tension, stress, and anxiety, leaving you feeling calmer, revitalised, re-energised, and more in control. It may help combat Post Natal Depression.

Hand Reflexology:
Highly relaxing treatment, and just as beneficial as a foot reflexology. An ideal solution if you don't like your feet being touched!

Confidential medical questionnaire:
All therapies require you to complete a confidential medical form prior to treatment. A GP referral may be required in some individual cases, but this will be discussed during our initial consultation.

Location:
My practice is based in Wallasey. However, I can come to your location if that is more convenient for you.

Travel costs:
